Yeah, "System and compressed memory" is using a lot of ram, idk what it is and why its using that much

I saw this posted recently, so I grabbed some information from this thread and this lifehacker post:

When you start running out of space in RAM, windows used to offload this data to the HDD, but in Windows 10 it actually compresses it, keeping it it memory, just having it take up less RAM. This saves you from long load times from getting things off the HDD, but takes more CPU cycles to decompress it. So since this is the total of all of the compressed data that came from every program that took up RAM that you are no longer using, it naturally is a large process, and will get larger as you open more programs and stop using others.
