I want to use Paranoidandroid for my phone, but my brother is telling me there are security holes in the OS put intentionally by the makers...

Does anyone know if it's safe?

I wouldn't think there were. What phone are you using?

I don't like Cyanogen mod.

It's too popular anyways

Ok, Paranoid android looks safe but having a custom rom installed means that you won't get security updates as fast AND you will void your warranty.
