Case fan stretching its cable

I have the Coolermaster Mastercase 5 Pro case with two fans at the front and one at the back and the ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard. The motherboard has three fan connectors, but one on each side in such a way that one of the front fans has to stretch its' cable to reach one of the connectors and it doesn't look good. I have heard of something called "fan splitter". Can this help and how? Thank you!

Yes, that can help since a fan splitter can double as an extension.
