With the link and controller being on sale via steam, i was considering picking one up.

Currently i use either kb/m or xb360 controller.

For streaming i use my desktop to gaming laptop. Unfortunately i have to do them both via wireless ac. No way for me to wire it currently. Only benefit i could see being able to put the link under the tv.

Given these scenarios are either one worth it?

Windows 10 Edu | Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming | Ryzen 9 3950x | 4x 16GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB| ROG Strix GeForce® RTX 2080 SUPER™ Advanced edition | Samsung 980 PRO 500GB + Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB + 8TB Seagate Barracuda | EVGA Supernova 650 G2 | Alienware AW3418DW + LG 34uc87c + Dell u3419w | Asus Zephyrus G14

You should be fine with AC WiFi so just go for it if that's your only concern.

That was my only concern. I would use my laptop to stream, but it doesn't fit under the TV and is currently in a place where i'd like to leave it lol Any experience with the steam controller?

i have a steam controller, its very different and will maybe take a long ass time to get used to.

its very easy to install and get different control schemes for every game on steam, didnt test it with games outside of steam.

you can also customize everything.

the only negative is, except for the totally different controls, it feels fairly cheap, but no different than the normal 360 controller.

i would recommend it if you like to experiment.
