Okay this is something cool.

Apparently, now there is a groundbreaking new technology that can help you make actual physical stuff in your printer. I've seen guitars and amps but this is awesome. This is how they make guitar and other props for spfx movies as well

Does anyone know about this? Like this Rova 3D Printer. I hope it's not too expensive. I want to construct my own spfx buildings and send the invoice to my accountant about it, etc.

I even found this cute Linux logo (Guess it was made using this 3d technology):

Is this is a legit technology? It better be cuz I already gave up on 'Teleporting' :(

Nah, I've heard plenty of stories about printers being used for solid body parts such as parts of bones, bits of esophagi, and other stuffs being implanted into people.

I didn't know that my 3D printer wasn't capable of taking a physical material and turning it into some other physical object xD

Actually what I meant was how can you turn a digital file into a physical print? Usually printers just print out text on paper. Sorry I'm somewhat of a noob to technology :) Thx for the info tho!

Yeah 3D printers have been around since the 80's, but they were mostly used for industrial prototyping until recent times when the technology became much more accessible and much more effective. Desktop printers just started becoming a thing this at the beginning of this decade.
