CPU/GPU Help Please

I am thinking of building a new PC and I don't know whether to go with this:
 

i5-6600k w/ GTX 1080

 

or this:

 

i7-6700k w/ GTX 1070

 

Your opinions?

No idea what that means. I mostly use the PC I have now for gaming.

Option 1 then with the i5 overclocked to the max.

Then buy the i5 6600k
4 core, 4 threads + overlocking

more than capable of handling games

Hyper 212 Evo is fine. Save the change to buy a new monitor.

I'm gonna buy a new monitor with the pc, thats the resolution Im at now with my 750 ti

GTX 1070 is meant to be a good card for games at 1080p and 1440p

Please dont waste your money on a fancy new gpu if youre going to be playing at 1600x900

 

Upgrade your monitor to one with a higher resolution OR consider buying a cheaper GPU
