Hello! I have an old AR Drone battery and my 2 year old brother is obsessed with flying things, so I charged the battery with a universal smart charger and I tired it out (the battery says only to charge at 1.0 Amps and the charger has an option to charge at 1.0 or at 2.0, so obviously I charged it as 1.0). The battery seems to be dead, I get no response from the drone when I turn it off (I have no way of knowing if the drone is dead, so may only thought is to get a new battery).  I saw on amazon a batter that fits my drone and it says to charge at 1.3 Amps, is it viable to charge it at 1.0 Amps? I know it might not work because it wont have enough amperage to charge the battery, or should I charge it at 2.0 Amps? Which I know may also damage it.  but, a 0.3 amps difference probably won't make a difference (at least I think so).

To make it short, can I charge a battery that requires 1.3 Amps with a 1.0 or 2.0 Amp charger?

normally you can charge every battery below it's advertised charging speed. I load my rc battery packs well below advertised speeds and never had problems.

BUT do not charge it at 2A, it will damage it. Slower is no problem, faster indeed
