Display stopped working after setting DP capability

I bought a new AOC G2260VWQ6 monitor. While going through the OSD, setting up my monitor i changed my DP capability from 1.1 to 1.2 because i have this monitor connected via DP to a ASUS Strix gtx 980ti and i thought it would be compatible with DP 1.2. But then it stopped working. I tried to reset it via the AOC i-Menu software but that doesn't do anything. Could anybody tell me what i did wrong and how to reset this monitor?

I don't know the menu system for your model but I have the AOC 2050swd, on this one I have an option for "recall", so try doing that 

The screen is completely black and gives a 'No signal' before going in Stand-by mode. The OSD is not available without signal.

I got my monitor working again by connecting it via HDMI instead of DP. Then reset it, and then DP works again. But now i have the problem that my third display only turns on after i disconnected my other HDMI monitor.
