So what im going for with this build is a simple mATX board inside of a regular case so I can upgrade in the future if I need to. I will be using the rx480 after the benchmarks come out and might Crossfire 2 of them. This build will mainly be used for med-high gaming with not a whole lot of intensive games but some thrown in. I already have an Intel i5-4440 3.1Ghz CPU, a Western Blue HDD with 1TB Storage and Windows 10 already installed on the HDD.

The Build:http://pcpartpicker.com/list/L6c6hq

Im thinking of adding a Fan Controller and 3 more 120mm fans to the case to provide better airflow. The 2 included 120mm fans should probably suffice until I get around to ordering the fans. I've started another thread about the CPU and am just wondering if it might be a bottleneck for a single rx 480? Other than that I think my system is pretty good and will fit my needs while keeping an okay budget.

why not just get an atx board instead? you're already getting an atx case, so you might as well do it. and no, an i5 shouldn't bottleneck an rx 480.

If you can find me a good priced and fits all my needs ATX Board I will gladly take it over the midget Gigabyte motherboard. I would gladly switch to an ATX Board for the additional RAM slots and others, I just for some reason couldn't find a good board for me, I want it to have 2 PCIx16 slots, a couple PCIe slots, and some other things. I did find a good ATX board, the MSI H81 pc mate, but sadly that went out stock on a couple retailers and has been out of stock for a couple weeks :(.

The thing about the Z97 series boards is they are meant to overclock right? My CPU can't overclock but then again I might as well get it since I can upgrade my CPU in the future. Otherwise this is cheaper and looks pretty nice. Also that case looks soooo much better than the one I had so yeah thats awesome. I have never heard of that RAM but seriously how can you fuck up RAM, the brands don't make shit of a difference so that's fine. This looks like a solid build and should be pretty good, thanks :D.

when you upgrade you will probably want to do so to a new architecture and socket

i choose the z97 board since it was the cheapest crossfire compatible board that's atx.

Yeah the Z97 board should do just fine, I think I can actually OC my CPU to I think 3.2Ghz but thats such a minor improvement that I won't even bother lol.

yup. btw, you probably don't need that cryorig c7, youcan use the stock cooler(unless you don't have one) or get a 212+/evo instead.

I do have the stock cooler from my current pc (Which contains the CPU and HDD i'm using) I also have another CPU cooler from another prebuilt that I accidentally fried but most of the components appear to work (I installed the Wireless card from that pc to my current one today). The stock cooler will probably work just fine, it doesn't look the coolest but it can probably get the job done and save me a couple bucks.

Build looks good, you might be better off getting a 240GB entry level SSD like a SP550

The Cryorig isn't needed but it sure looks really cool and will be super quiet.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

If you didn't see the build herman mcpootis posted it did contain a 240GB SSD which I have looked at before and think that is probably a better option than a 120GB Samsung which I do believe are around the same price. Yeah the Cryorig isn't needed but I might add that later for asthetics but the case doesn't have a clear side panel so meh i'm not bothered by it if I can't see it just sitting there. And really the quietness I don't really care about that much since my Headset blocks out a good amount of sound.
