So my company is investing in some Ubiquiti access points and I was tasked with setting them up. Anyone have any pointers or at least a short tutorial on how I'd go about it? (I'm pretty new at IT so cut me some slack please XD)

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

So two people that I think you should check out is Chris from Crosstalk Solutions and Willie Howe on YouTube. They both have plenty of tutorials and are a great place to start if you have time and need someone to walk you through things step by step. Essentially the install is download and setup the Unifi Controller, Set up your Wireless Networks (if you are using the default 192.168.1.1/24 subnet, if not then configure the Network tab accordingly), the adopt your APs and the setting should be pushed over and you're finished.

But the best thing to do in my opinion is mess around with hardware first in private (this is assuming you can) so you can learn what works for you and if something messes up, you can reset it. It's great practice and you'll quickly find out Ubiquiti makes things really painless as far as the initial install because of the controller you use to control them.

Hope this helps. ??
