Gigabyte 970A-UD3P Gpu Compatability

Hi I built my pc around 2 year ago, and am wanting to upgrade my motherboard. I want to get the

Gigabyte

970A-UD3P

but I don't know if its compatible with the Nvidia line of graphics cards. I have the Evga Gtx 960 FTW edition, but the motherboard specs say

  • Multi-Graphics: Supports AMD 2-Way Crossfire Technology

I don't want to get this motherboard and it be compatible with everything else i have but not my graphics card. This question sounds really dumb but I'm only 13 and have focused much of my knowledge into graphics cards and processors. I would think that every motherboard is compatible with Nvidia and AMD graphics cards but better safe then sorry.
