I was wondering if my graphics card is good or are there better versions or upcoming new graphics cards 

 

the total budget is 1500 cad which is approx 1200 american

You need a cpu cooler

i would wait a little bit for the aib 1070's to come out, they will be cheaper

You also need a power supply. I recommend a 650 watt from EVGA's GS/G2/GQ series. And do you need all the features on that motherboard? It's rather pricey. You could get a cheaper motherboard that still does everything you need it to and get more memory and even an SSD.
