I have to 21.5inch aoc monitors

 

I have connected up by HDMI and the other one for my *xbox* (Don't hate) can I connect up my second monitor (Using duel screen) using Vga (With a DVI adapter)

VGA won't work with some resolutions. Better use DVI direct or DP/HDMI. Also, don't use the motherboard connector for a 2nd screen. Will cause a LOT of latency/lag.

Then get a DVI cable. Or a DP.

Yea you can. You can use the dvi to vga from the 970 and it will work just fine.

It doesn't add any lag(look at optimus laptops). I haven't had issues with VGA and resolutions(and probably less issues than dvi).

Get a DVI-D to HDMI cable, they're really cheap.

He can't as he's got both hdmi of monitors connected to an xbox and pc.

 

You can get a vga to dvi, but make sure that you don't have anything that could cause interferences, as you will be using analog signal and not digital
