My pc rig atm: Intel Core i7-5930K (15MB Cache, up to 3.70 GHz), s2011-3 2X Zotac GTX 1080 FE, 6 GB DDR5, 384-bit, 1228/7100 MHz ASUS X99-DELUXE/U3.1, s2011-3 DDR4 32GB (4x8GB) Corsair Vengeance HDD 3TB WD Black, 3.5", 7200RPM, 64MB Cache, SATA3, SSD 512GB Samsung 850 Pro CORSAIR Hydro Series H110i GT 280mm Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler Corsair 760W, AX760, modular.

Problem: In games im getting fps but game lags. Should i upgrade my psu to better one (1200w corsair atx) or keep this one. I dont know how to fix stuttering or throttling. Im using old sli bridge for 1080p because im wating new one to come next week. With old GTX 980TI 6G OC my pc worked perfect! Is this happening cos of low wattage or smth else. Please help i dont know what to do?

I doubt it's the PSU.

SLI might be the culprit here since it's quite well known to cause microstuttering.

Your PSU is more than fine, don't bother with that.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

My guess is that the old bridge is the issue.

the GTX1080 requires those hard SLi bridges for them to work properly in SLi

according to nVidia and reviewers, those SLi bridges that came with the mobo are not suitable

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
