question about Arma3

so in arma 3 to play like altis life and dayz do i need any of the DLC. like helicopters and stuff? or does just the arma 3 base game work for all that

No, they work without the DLC but if you want to use the helis, weapons and carts etc on that server then you need the DLC.

The helicopter DLC might be worth it if you play more traditional game modes. Stay away from the sniper DLC, you can get much better weapons through mods.

i just bought all the DLC except for Apex

ohh, bad move. Apex is looking amazing, the rest of the DLC is kinda meh from what I've seen.

if i need the DLC to play on servers ill need it, im not going to play single player if it has it just like arma 2, and its all on sale right now, 

 

even cheaper then it is on G2A right now
