Issue with GPU Upgrade

So I recently upgraded my gpu from the r9 270x dual x oc 4gb to the xfx dd r9 390. I USED to be able to record csgo in 1080p60 with minimal frame drops. Now i cant even record in 720p30 without being taken down to 50fps

CPU: A10-6800K

Mobo: Asus A78M-A

GPU: XFX Double Dissipation R9 390

Disable the APU somehow

you probably accidentally X-fire'd them

You can't crossfire an APU with a GPU of a different performance tier.  You can only combine APU's with R7 240's or R7 250/250X.  And it's not even supported by his APU.
