An upgrade

Go to solution Solved by imreloadin,

I'm looking for a decent build/rig for gaming, streaming and video rendering specifically.

Budget isn't set, but I'm obviously not looking for an overkill - just something that would handle modern games and streaming, while at the same time not getting clogged up during rendering of videos.
All items will be purchased in Poland, do not include GPU as I already have GTX 980.

Thanks in advance!

Laptop: ASUS Zenbook UX32LN

Could you please provide a budget? I know you say it isn't set but one is really needed to price out the rest of the components needed.

It isn't for me - it's for my buddy and what he said was 'Whatever is needed, I'll earn money for it' - but I knew that if I said such a thing here, you guys would come up with the most overpriced stuff there is.

Why 4790K if there are skylake processors for similar prices? - Don't get me wrong, I myself have 4790K, but I bought it waaaay before skylake came out so I don't think my buddy should get it.

My friend has i5-2500K and he doesn't have problems either at this very moment (to a point), but I think he'd rather have a skylake CPU.
