Hai,

 

 

So in the spirit of new GPUs I decided toooo...Upgrade , well, I kinda was forced to since I planned on setting up crossfire but my current MOBO only has 1 PCI E....but yeah anyways.

 

So....I kinda picked my stuff already - and I would like to know if you guys think it'll work together! , so here's the list;

 

Case (Switching to the bigger model); Corsair Carbide Clear 600C Inverse ATX Full Tower

MOBO; MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition LGA 1150

CPU (from my old rig); Intel Core i5-4690 Processor

CPU Cooler; Cooler Master Hyper D92

RAM; 4 x Kingston HyperX FURY 1866MHz DDR3 8GB (2 black , 2 white) 

GPU; 2 x AMD RX480 8GB (set in crossfire)

PSU (from old rig); SeaSonic M12II 750W Full-Modular

SSD (from old rig); SanDisk Ultra II 480GB SATA III

HDD (from old rig) 1TB of blue something, I really don't know. 

O.S. ; Windows 10 , 64bit , Pro (or whatever , idk.)

 

 

please let me know if this works together

yep, it all works.

you might need to reactivate windows though

What do you mean by that? o.O , I have mine from the free upgrade offer that lasted a year...can't I just like , use my Microsoft account and it'll see that I have the windows key?

I think that product keys are tied to motherboards now

contact microsoft after you change your HDD, and they should give you a new activation code

Yeah it'll work. Great PSU and pretty good SSD choice.

It works together, sure.

But why a locked cpu, with an overclocking motherboard? For the same price as the 4690, you can get a better performing xeon 1231v3, which works in that motherboard, and is pretty much an i7 4790, at the cost of the 4690.

I wrote its from my old rig when I did a budget rig. I don't see a good enough for a reason to buy a new CPU when I have the best version of I5 when its awesome for everything.
