Does a Windows 10 refresh delete drivers?

I'm a Windows installation noob, and I would like to know if refreshing Windows 10 will delete drivers

NOTE: WITHOUT a custom refresh image.

What I mean by this, is will I have to go and fish out all of my driver CDs that came with my motherboard and stuff?

I've tried Googling it, but I haven't gotten what I wanted.

(I'm really trying not to go on a search engine rant here)

you dont do that with win10 under any condition.

theoretically win10 should have all drivers to at least get you going on downloading the most recent versions of drivers.

I actually needed some drivers when first installing Windows on my computer.

win10 "should" have at leart ethernet drivers i believe. and once you have that you just download the propper drivers for the rest.

The main thing is Wifi card drivers. I don't use ethernet. I needed those drivers, because I couldn't get online,

wifi card drivers are a disaster, even with the disk xD

(chances are wynderk doesnt ship them because a lot of the wifi cards actually prescribe to install the driver when the card is not installed)

Not always

It doesnt like my ethernet adapter

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

I found my bag that contains all of the stuff I gathered after building my computer (ie. manuals, driver cds, CPU socket cover)

I guess I'll just go through those.

"should"

you know, with an arch linux CD shipping with drivers that run on any ethernet card i've tried, it makes me wonder what the hell is wrong on the windows side of things.

Its probably because the ethernet chip is not only not that common

It is also a rebranded version

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

this one's supported out the box, it's running win98SE because it barely meets the requirements of the most lightweight linux distro i could find.

win98 has a shocking amount of drivers on the disk actually.

That means that chip is not that uncommon. Anyway what were we talking about again?

i bet its uncommon for a disk compiled in 2010.

There is a surprising amount of legacy components that have drivers out of the box.

EXCEPT YOU G200e THAT INTEL DECIDED TO USE ON A SERVER IN 2010 DESPITE THE FACT THAT YOU WERE OVER A DECADE OLD AT THE POINT AND NOTHING SUPPORTED YOU.

Hehe

That server I mentioned (now with GTX 560) is being used with what is possibly the first wireless kb/m ever.

Windows didnt have the driver on disk however it found it in windows update (unlike the g200e and my nic)

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.
