fx 8370 virtualization

Simply put can I do what linus did here

 with an AMD FX 8370 OC'ed and an Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z. I'm concerned about IOMMU support in the bios.

 

" Even when the chipset supports IOMMU, the bios must have a ACPI IVRS table to enable the use of it ". Anyone know about compatibility issues ?

It should work fine, If you don't already have parts i strongly reccomend that you just build 2 systems as its much less hassle and easier to work with.

I'm interested in doing this for novelty reasons, it should be fun. Any heads up on what to expect?
