Specs:

GPU - R9 390

CPU - i5 4690k oc'd to 4.3Ghz

Cooler - Noctua NH-D15

MB - Asus Z97-P

RAM - 16GB DDR3

So, I got my CPU quite a while back but never go around to overclocking it. I recently used AI suite to do so, but for some reason its still unstable (I think)

I can play any game at highest setting for hours with out any problems, but for some reason in the past 24 hours I have crashed 3 times whilst watching Netflix and playing Runescape on my other monitor.

I can play Arma 3 for hours on end with 0 problems, but as soon as I start watching Netflix and playing runescape I crash after about an hour.

My over clock started on 4.5 Ghz, but ive slowly nudged it down to 4.2Ghz and its still crashing.

Ive stress tested it multiple times and it seems to be fine, until I start to multitask.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Dont use AI Suite
Do it in the bios
Set VCore to 1.25 and 4.2Ghz and see if youre stable, then increase core till unstable, then increase voltage to 1.3 / 1.325v and if youre still not stable, adjust the two.

Alright gonna get a friend to help me with manually overclocking since his 4790k is at like 4.8ghz.

Thanks for the reply :)
