I am using i7 4790k, and asrock Z97 extreme 4. I am confused why I my overclock is higher than my CPU ratio, and my voltage. Currently I have ratio at 48, and voltage is 1.25

The temps are a different story that will never be solved. Using a 240mm Seidon from Coolermaster, so my max temp should be 60 c especially at that voltage.

This looks fine unless I'm not seeing something. Your clocks are (relatively) at 4800MHz, which is what a multiplier of 48 would give. Same goes for your voltage. What's the problem?

Also what test were you running to get those temps?

This looks about right to me. Im using an H105 and my temps arent much lower at that OC

I take that back....

Look at the max, Why did it spike that high?

I have a nice binned chip, so I am running very low voltage for a high overclock. (Max temps are high but that can't be helped. I got a bad thermal batch)

Those are really low volts for that OC, to bad the thermals dont match. Dont know why its going over your set ratio.

How many volts does it need for a 4.5 OC?

At first I set it to 4.8 at 1.28 vcore, but I got in the 90 c, so that was too high for me. (Also 4.9 GHZ at 1.28 is also stable, but temperature issue, and ingame I was reaching 90c)

Are you sure its not your Seidon to blame for the temps?

I RMA it, and found out it's the processor 100%... I Used a 140mm liquid cooler and getting same temps

This processor would be amazing for LN2 cooling, but I am not into that.
