Raid 0 advice needed!

Hi!

I'm looking into building my own computer and I thought it would be really interesting to have something with RAID 0. I do not NEED to do this but I really like the idea of it. However I've never tried this so before I buy anything I would love some advice with the following ideas and questions. 

 

My build will be mainly for vr gaming where I'll be running an i7 6700k or i5 6600k and a GTX 1070.

 

The original idea was to have two m2. pcie SSD's in raid 0.

Would this have any drawbacks regarding other components or draw power from them?

Also what kind of motherboard would I need to support a big gpu and two m2.s?

How much faster would two m2. ssd's be than two regular sata ssd's?

Id suggest that you saty away from this. Less reliables, more expensive, and the pcie ssds are already soo fast.

I'm not going to be doing any hardcore files transferring editing or anything like that so I don't think unreliability will be an issue

If you aren´t going to do things like that, why would you want 2 PCIe SSDs in RAID 0?

The only thing that makes sense to put in RAID 0 are HDDs and maybe SATA SSDs..

I think it's time to abandon my hopes and dreams of this RAID 0
