http://pcpartpicker.com/list/7KCRBP This is my current rig with a CPU and GPU tweak. I don't wanna upgrade to a skylake mobo, and I need to keep it cheap. This looks, based on the vive page, to be VR ready on the cheap. Would you all agree it is?

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.

whats the PC?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

you could but i wouldent do it seeing as you cant overclock it and it preforms worse even at stock.
