Seems to be the refresh of the 940m. So it's not that good but it is better than the integrated which allows you to play some games? :D (although you're gonna want to be running demanding titles at 720p).

For your actual question, I have a 840m which performs pretty similarly to the 940m so I guess I could try and help you with some questions?

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

940M is about the same as a 845M so 15-20% above the base 840M :P

Hello everyone, anyone from here has this gpu? If yes please let me know so i can ask few questions! Also i'm looking for DDR5 version users but if there aren't any then DDR3 users are welcome aswell :)

Not a lot of those were sold - it's generally a bare-bones chip and won't be good for serious gaming

Close enough...they're both low powered chips with similar performance so...ya know...

940M can play Witcher 3 though, 840M struggles :)

So it is smarter to go with gtx950m? Also i didn't ever had a laptop so i would like to know how much external laptop cooler helps to reduce the heat?

laptop coolers add a lot of noise and bulk. Just get a laptop with good cooling and you won't have issues.

950M is a good 40% faster than the 940M but it's not as good value as the 960M.

Basically, 960M, 950M, 860M and 850M all have the same GPU core but different clockspeeds and VRAM types. The GDDR5 *60 cards have increases their performance by about 25%

Something like 600-650 euros, most likely will buy in Germany/Austria. What do you think about this one: i7-5500U, GeForce GTX950M 4GB (i don't know is it ddr3,but that would suck), RAM 8GB, Hybrid 1 TB + 8 GB for about 630 euro in my Country near my place? I won't be buying soon so prices will drop for sure, any possibility laptops with 960m drop in price any time soon? Would be awesome to find one for my budget.

I can't find any site other than shops from my country, it is Toshiba Satellite P50-C-17K i don't know why i can't find any site about it in English..

It's cancer. Avoid it.

Anything Acer or Toshiba is cancer and most HP Pavilions are also cancer.

Check prices on the Lenovo IdeaPad 700 (not the Y700, just 700 - the white one)
