Lan Transfer Speed

So for the past few weeks my file transfer across the LAN from my desktop to other computers has grinded to a hault transferring at only 5.2mb/s, this started happening randomly and only seems to happen when transferring with my desktop. All other computers on the network transfer at normal speeds, I dont know why i am getting such slow speeds as I used to be able to transfer at 125mb/s when on gigabit Ethernet with my desktop and my laptop. I have tried this with multiple router's and they all give the same result, so what could be restricting my transfer speeds?

All systems are running windows 10, my desktop's motherboard is a P8Z68-V LX and has a SSD, so storage shouldn't be an issue.

My internet speeds at home aren't particularly fast, but being in university I was able to get up to 80Mbps download despite my LAN transfers being slow at 5.2Mb/s.

Speedtest results dont matter in this situation, as we are talking about a LAN transfer.

As for the transfer issues, what is your cpu/ram usage? Does this happen with a certain type of file only? Have you tried doing some sort of iperf or ftp transfer to make sure that the problem is with smb and not something in the lower networking layers?

My native language is C++

Both computers are directly connected to the same router via ethernet so no switch is involed,
my cpu usage stays fairly normal being < 10% when transferring files over the network on my 2500K.
I have 12gb or ram and the usage is at 35% idling and transferring data, moving folders with lots of files slows the speed down even more as usual, and any other type of files don't go any faster than 5.2mb/s.
Ill plug a memory stick into my router and do some FTP transfers to see what speed im able to get :)

I did some FTP transfers at only 5mb/s transfers as well, sucks a bit, although i transferred some files via team viewer and it manage to keep a stable 35mb/s. So don't exactly know whats going on here?
