so i am currently overclocking my gpu, i have been running heaven benchmark and found the sweet spot to let it run for just over an hour with no problems by adjusting the gpu clock offset.

So now for the mem clock offset, im just wondering what boosting the mem clock does and what kind of boost is safe to start off with and what performance gains to you get by overclocking the mem clock?

the gpu i am overclocking is a Titan X that is fully watercooled so temps are never a problem as they never exceed 50 degrees and the overclock software i am using is evga precision x, thanks

Boosting the mem increases performance slightly. Not as much as core clock, but it does give a small increase, specially at higher resolutions. Push it up just like you would with the core clock.
