ACER XB270HU or Asus pg278q

Simple question: Should I buy the Acer xb270hu or should I go with the Asus pg278q? I get them both for exactly the same price and the games I play are mostly CS:GO, BF Franchise, FarCry Franchise and i'm also planning on playing new games with good graphics like bf1 and other new games. Which one is the better?

I would choose the Acer.  I went through 4 278q's and went with the Xb271hu.  Also the Acer is IPS which is a huge plus for me.  The acer is 4ms but you will NEVER notice the difference.

Ghosting is more noticeable between 1ms and 4ms, at least from comparing ASUS PG278Q and PG279Q. However, its not very significant.

 

As long as you are not too annoyed about the Ghosting, then go with IPS panel.

I would go with the Acer since I prefer IPS over TN. Since you play a lot of shooters, you might benefit more from the Asus due to its faster response time. If your prefer the aesthetic of the Acer, there are two different versions: abprz and bprz, one is TN and the other is IPS.

I own PG278Q and I regret not waiting for IPS panels to come out.
