I have decided... I am going to go the X99 route and get a 5820K, cause 6800K offers little gains and costs $80-100 more...

Something else to consider... Dont compare it directly against the cost of the 5820k, but rather the cost of your entire system. Lets say your budget is $1500. the question isn't 400 for a 5820k or 500 for 6800k, the question is 1500 for a 5820k or 1600 for 6800k.

It still may not be worth it for you, in which case no sweat. but its something to keep in mind.

GL and enjoy your system!

I think I am going to be more "futureproof" this time and get a 5820K... After all I might be getting a GTX 1070 later this year... If not, I'll get the RX 480!
