virtualbox with windows 95 question

Im trying to get windows 95 installed on a virtual machine and i get to where its black screen and lets you choose where to begin the setup but no hard drives are listed. It just gives me a network location that is listed as R:\. Im using my laptop which has windows 10 64bit. the virtual machine seems to be looking for IDE drives but the bios setting on my laptop is set to AHCI. is there anyway that i cn get the virtual machine to use the virtual hard drives without having to switch my whole laptop back to IDE?

You created a virtual drive.. right?

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

I thought VBox didn't support legacy operating systems. I wasn't able to get Win95 working when I tried...
