Best plain looking keyboard with replaceable key caps

If you are looking for a keyboard with replaceable key caps, then mechanical is pretty much the only way.

Not all gamery you know? not all weird angles and colours and graphics. Professional looking. Any size is fine.

I know this is a little more than you're hoping for but it is on sale right now and seems to fit what you're looking for well - clean, simple professional look, but does have (white) lighting, gamer features, brown switches:

You're looking for 'half mechanical' keyboards. They'll be real cheap since they're membrane, but have cherry mx compatible stems so you can change keycaps.

The Redragon looks pretty nice, but I would be tempted to somehow remove the redragon plate thing!

In the end this is probably the area I go for - my price limits are a little unrealistic! Besides this is for when I build a PC - currently using a laptop.

The Havit most definitely does have cherry compatible stems, besides the screenshot of the stem in the amazon item, I've seen some youtube reviews of 'half mechanical' keyboards and use of customizable mx compatible caps is one of the major selling points of being half mechanical.

Personally, I couldn't deal with a compact layout but that's very personal so if you know you're fine with it, no worries there.

As for the brand, it's one of the thousands I've never heard of that seem to be common on massdrop, amazon, etc.  They might be great, or terrible, but I have no idea.  Personally, I wouldn't trust any of them though.
