So I bought a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2016 about 3 weeks ago, then returned it a week later due to one of the keys being messed up. I bought a G910 Orion Spectrum, didn't like it, so I got a refund for it and bought another Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2016. (I like the way the keys feel and the noise they make)

This keyboards backspace key is messed up. It doesn't feel as tactile as all the other keys, it has some resistance when it comes back up, and sometimes it will just stick half way up after I use it. Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm pretty upset that both keyboards I've bought from Razer have had some sort of key issue.

Specs:

Intel i7-4790K @ 4.7 GHz cooled by Corsair H80i | ASUS Maximus VII Formula |  G.Skill 8 GB (2 x 4GB) 2133 | EVGA 980 Superclocked (Fry) | 128GB Samsung 840 Pro OS Drive | WD Black HDD | 500GB Samsung 850 EVO | Corsair Vengeance K70 | Logitech G502 Proteus Core

lol @ AMD 8350

Well...that is what happens when RAZER decides to not use German engineered Cherry MX key switches, and uses a Chinese knock-off company....where some of the keys from the demo units FAILED during CES 2015 (? don't remember which event exactly).

The new Logitech mechanical keyboards are not for everyone -- especially with the ones using the Romer-G Omron switches. If you don't mind giving Logitech another go, have a look into the G710 Plus Blue ("clicky" Cherry MX Blue switches).

To be completely honest, just look at some other keyboard alternatives from other manufacturers...

Agreed. Off-brand switches can (and will) be hit-or-miss. You may get lucky and get each one of them in perfectly working conditions, or you may end up with unusable junk.
