Remove laptop sticker discoloration

After removing the cringe-worthy stickers from my laptop's palm rest, I noticed that it left some discoloration. I tried rubbing alcohol and oil to remove it but both methods failed. Do you guys know of other ways to remove this? The plastic is soft-touch (the same as the Dell 7559's palm rest)

How old is the laptop?  It's possible that the plastic under the sticker is actually closer to the original and the rest has discoloured with age.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Try focusing your cleaning on everywhere else?

That or just make that spot a high use area until it blends in.

I have some places on my D830 laptop that formerly had the Intel/Windows stickers on them.  They're permanently a different texture/shade than the otherwise worn surfaces.  Ideally remove those stickers when the laptop is brand new if you want to avoid the problem.  Or find some new stickers to cover them up.

This is why you shouldn't have removed them in the first place.
