I'm concerned about possible artifacts on my display:

7f0b969a08ba66ef375a8acfdb06f4ab.png

As you can see, it is not supposed to be like that; is anyone able to provide any information that could solve this issue?

Maybe worth noting that sometimes whole sections of my screen can go black until I refresh the page, I have only seen this issue occur in Firefox and it caused Firefox to crash the other day.

You believe this is an issue with the monitor and not the Graphics card? The monitor is a Dell U2515H and the GPU is an R9 390. Surely if it was a monitor issue I would not be able to screenshot the visible artifact?

Could be drivers, the GPU itself, VRAM, an overclock, shitty power...etc

There's quite a few issues it could be.

The PSU is a Corsair RMI 850I. The drivers are up to date, what do you mean by VRAM? The GPU is not overclocked.

VRAM = Video RAM. Where the frames go before being displayed iirc. If one module goes shitty you have a big problem.

Is there any way that I could verify that this is an issue with the GPU? I believe there is a warranty on it.

I would just send it back and get a new one if it's still under warranty.

It seems a bit extreme, but I'll take a look at doing that. Is there a possibility that it could be a result of the GPU drooping a lot. It does seem to droop quite far.

I've noticed this whilst using Firefox:

c45bfe4429dc0321ebe82a2329fe5278.png

Which is really quite disturbing, I have only seen it happen on Firefox and it tends to happen when I scroll down and then back up. Dragging my mouse across buttons tends to remove the lines as can be seen on the left hand side, what could be causing this? I've seen something similar happen before where most of my Firefox would go black and dragging the mouse across the features of the page it would gradually return to normal. All my graphics drivers are up to date, both MSI R9 390 and my Intel HD 530. The primary display graphics are the R9 390 and the Intel HD 530 are disabled. I have only experienced this in Firefox. Some other users suggested that I RMA the GPU but that seems a bit too premature as I do not fully understand the issue. My specifications can be found in the signature. Thanks.

Edit: I have only seen it on this site, is it possibly a compatibility issue?

Also try a different cable as well. I had an issue with a brand new cable, only a month old, and it caused me to buy a new monitor to find out it was the cable that is bad.

Do you have any suggestions? Reinstall drivers? RMA? I have not seen any lines outside of this website, only on this website. Although I have experienced the computer freezing every now and again when playing intensive games, I hear a click from my speakers and then the computer freezes.

You can try drivers. If it continues happening, maybe roll back a generation or 2 of drivers to see.

Try reinstall drivers, if that does not fox it its GPU as it works without it.
