I need help with my custom gaming pc rig

hello there! Im going to buy these parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Wolfiowww/saved/WYP2FT + the geforce gtx 1070 FE.

My questions are:

Do they all fit in each other and in the case (im not a pc pro + im going to let a friend build my pc)

is the fan good enough

And are the specs good enough because i think they are

My maximum budged is 1000 euro this is a 991 euro build.

(I DONT NEED TO OVERCLOCK. IM FINE WITH THE FPS OF THE GPU AND THE CPU ITS STILL ALOT)

Welcome to the Forums!

  1. Make sure to set your country correctly on PC Part Picker to make sure the parts are available where you are.
  2. Why FE? An aftermarket cooler will preform better and is likely cheaper on the 1070
  3. A B150 MOBO can't overclock, yet you have a K CPU. Either get a Z170 board or an i5 6500
  4. Not a great SSD. I'd recommend the Samsung 850 EVO

The other parts look good.

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001

Everything seems alright to me, however, I would not recommend that you buy the V300 ssd, it performs terribly and it degrades quickly and noticeably, at least that has been my experience with it. Also I would recommend that you buy only one stick of 8gb ram that way its easier to upgrade to 16gb and you will still have two empty ram slots :).

- Way better motherboard. One that'll actually let you overclock.

- Slightly better CPU cooler. Quite a bit more silent as the EVO can get very loud.

- Way better SSD. The V300 is terrible.

-Roomier case, easier to build in.

- Significantly better power supply, with a 5 year warranty on top.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

I just updated it. and no needs to overclock for me. with the cpu and gpu it still gives alot fps so no overclocks needed. & why fe? because i need a gtx 1070 for 400 or under the 400$ because in euros its 360 euro or something and if its more than 400 dollar i need to pay more for the pc and this is already going to take me ages to get the money. so i cant handle more than 1000 euro do u know a 1070 for less than 400?

Getting a EVO + fan will cost more than getting a shadow rock slim :P

Also, where do you live? There are pcpartpicker links for many EU countries, like Germany and Spain

be quiet! SHADOW ROCK LP is that one good to?

That one's low profile. It's designed to work in really slim cases, it's not as good as the taller ones and I wouldn't try to overclock on it.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

i guess its better you go for an Intel i5-6500, though 6600k is good but only when u overclocking it!! And yea all of the parts uu using will fit perfectly well! As ur case can accomodate upto an ATX size motherboard whereas ur motherrboard is a microATX one

450W could power an i5-6500 and two GTX 1070s :)*

That SSD is miler faster than the V300 although it definitely lags behind the 850 EVO.

You should definitely get that one.

*As long as it's from a reliable, high quality power supply.

See the motherboard you are using is a Micro ATX motherboard (it is a size standard), whereas the case you are using can have Motherboard upto the size of ATX , so ll the parts will fit in it perfectly! (micro ATX<ATX)

check the video down for more info
