Hello,

I was recently looking into mouse pad reviews and rarely do I see/read about static friction.
I've got a Corsair M45, love the mouse itself BUT what annoys me is that it takes a certain amount of force to start the movement but then it moves by much more than a pixel, so the static friction is what gives me trouble. This makes things like headshots very hard. While moving the mouse the precision is fine though.

Can any of you recommend a mouse pad that does have little static friction?

2600k, HD6870, 16GB

well if you want as little static friction as possible you should go with a completely flat surface, such as a desk, or a piece of paper/wood

hard mousepad, ideally a metal surface one

edit: if I understand you correctly, you're bothered that you need more force to move the mouse from a standstill, compared to when it's already moving?

Longboarders/ skaters message me!

If you want to avoid static friction you're going to want to move to a different universe. OR fins a mouse that weighs nothing.
