Well, WHICH Sapphire R9-390 are you referring to (model number)?

I dont think Sapphire has a 390 that is to long for a 540

Oh you're right.

I had thought Sapphire initially had a two-fan cooler (Dual-X cooler) when the R9-390 launched.

They only came with the three-fan yellow-coloured Tri-X cooler, or the more recent Nitro cooler.

The 540 can handle almost all GPU's ( cant think of one it cant at the moment) I have the 240, the little brother, and my 290X lightning fit...barely.
