My Galaxy S4 has suddenly stopped working. I have rooted it and installed cyanogenmod onto it and overclocked it with a custom kernel. It was working finetoday until it ran out of power. When i came home i plugged it in and let it charge. After a little while it wouldnt boot up. It would go to the Cyanogenmod screen and stay there forever. When i went into the recovery and wiped the dalvik cache and the cache, the phone would turn on and get to the "Android is upgrading" page, and when it would finish, it would stay forever at the starting apps part. I cant seem tofind a fix to the problem so please help!  :o

Thank you in advance.

Sounds like a kernel problem.

Have you used the kernel provided with the ROM you installed or have you used another one?

I have the faux kernel and the weirdest part is that is wasnt doing any stuff with the kernel or settings today and i was just playing Bloons TD5.

I'd reflash the rom, and fix permissions after you have done so, and see if it works.

If not, revert to the stock ROM.

Ok thanks everyone i will come back with the results.
