Need help with PWM cable

I'm a noob bare with me... I have connected the liquid cooler to CPU fan and now I'm confused where should I connect the PWM cable of the case to? Should I connect it to the CPU_OPT ??

iirc the CPU_OPT is just a second CPU fan header. Are there no other fan headers on the motherboard?

Yes there is another one. Should I connect it to it? but then can I still control the fans?

 

 

another question where do I put the extension cable?
