I followed all the steps given in the documentations and installed Rockstor, created pools, shares, and then created a samba share which i accesses as per given on this page --> http://rockstor.com/docs/samba_ops.html#from-a-windows-machine
Now I am able to view the share on windows in the Network folder

When I open UDDHAVLABDE computer, I get this (Image 2)
The share that I have created in Rockstor.

But, now when I try to open it, I receive this error (image 3)

What is the problem and any solutions?

So this has set the sharing of the folder, but it has not setup the security.

By default there is no 'guest' access configured. Your options are too:

-Create a user account, and give it security permissions. If you create it with the same username/password as your account you're using to access the share, then it should generally let you straight in.

-There is a group on Windows called 'Everyone', you can add that to the folder with the permissions which will allow anyone to access the folder. Only do this if you have a closed network - generally you want to avoid giving 'Everyone' access.

Personally I have mine setup so that in the security group for the main share, 'Everyone' has Read/List access, and my group 'ShareAdmins' which my account is a member of, has Read/Write/Create access which is an ideal setup for flexibility while still providing security against people deleting/modifying files.
