I have had my rig for about 9 months now, and it's a fabulous rig, does everything I want except run Linux, because for some reason, there are always compatibility issues. But I want to water cool it. And when I say water cool it, I mean an Asus ROG board with water cooled VRMs and everything. I have my board, radiators, and pump picked out, but where can I find a decent  water block for a GTX 660 and an i5-3570k?

Current Build: Intel i5-3570k @3.8GHz; MSI-Z77-G41; 8GB Corsair Ballistix @1600MHz; EVGA SSC GTX 650TI 2GB; Adata SX900 128GB; Western Digital Green 1TB; Asus CD burner; Corsair HX750 750 Watt power supply; Cooler Master HAF-912.

It is usually not worth it cooler low(er) end cards like that. I tend to stay away from hybrid VRM coolers, mainly because most of them use aluminum in their blocks, and that could cause corrosion issues with your other components. What is your budget?

You would at least be able to get the GPU block from EK :)

I don't know about the CPU one though...

Well, I'll be making minimum wage once I get hired onto JCPennies this week, so... Anywhere from $212 if that'll cover it, to around $700 around december.

EK, XSPC, Alphacool, Aquacomputer, Bitspower.

I just looked on the Frozen CPU site, and I checked EK's GPU blocks. They have the 660.

What case are you going to be using? We need to know that in order to figure out the max radiators that can be mounted.

Is it even worth it to be cooling a non-Ti 660?

HAF-912. I was going to just mount two 240mills, one in top and one in front.

You're just going to be cooling your 3570K and your 660 (I dont think it's worth it), but you can do whatever you want, supporting that manufacturers have the blocks that you need.

2 240mm rads will be good. Do you know the clearance from the top 240 to your motherboard?

Forgot about the quoting system, which will make this easier on you lol. And I also think the second rad would be overkill. I think there's about an inch and a half up top? I don't have a ruler or measuring tape on me at this very minute.

D: That doesnt seem like a lot... 25mm for the fans = 15mm for the rad, unless you mount it outside of the chassis....

Well, I might have to go with the external rad then. I like the big 240x240 one at the top, would that work for both cpu and gpu?

You mean 240x120, right? 480mm of radiator space would be enough for the CPU and GPU, and you'll have a lot og OCing headroom.

Good, good. My signature has the wrong card, I just noticed, but I have the EVGA SSC version of the GTX 660, and being able to push it a little bit farther would be really nice.

So, EK's 660 block, Swiftech Apogee HD-Blk 1155 block, Swiftech's "eXtreme Performance" 120 rad and... Uhh... What pump should I get?

Laing D5 or Laing DDC.

If you're going for an external rad, I suggest you get an Alphacool UT60, or a Hardware Labs SR1. These rads have low FPI, so it'll be quieter.

you need to review these guides:

Water Cooling 101 - A good place for newbies to start

Water cooling FAQ - Some Basic Q&A

in them you'll see some great information to a lot of your hardware needs. so before

telling us how your are going to do it, prolly a better way to use the guides and then

come back with a more informed parts list.
