Is it coil whine? Is something hitting the fan?

Most likely a coil whine or something is hitting it maybe a cable or something

coil whine, dont worry about it, your system restarting is probably a game problem. try another card if you have 1 (or another game) and try again, moved any files recently, powersupply could also be on the way out but that comes much further down the line.

im pretty sure is the 3d card becouse i took it out and played and no problem.

You are putting more load on the power supply when your in games because, your CPU and GPU have to draw more power from the PSU. It also might be you motherboard, because sometimes a motherboard will produce coil whine when your system has higher power draw. Also look up some videos of coil whine to get the idea of what it sounds like to make sure it is coil whine you are hearing

 

You may want to double check its not your PSU or Motherboard. You can check by getting a tube of any kinda and listening to the different parts of your system through it. Before you check turn all clock frequencies to default, if your overclocking

 

If the GPU coil whines there is no "danger" and you almost will never get an RMA on a GPU coil whine. Its just kind of annoying, there's nothing you can really do about it. You may want to try to use a differant video card if you have one, just to make sure that is your issue.

 

If its your motherboard its most likely the "chokes" (which will be found near the CPU socket). This problem can either be a faulty component on the board (in which case I suggest RMAing it if you can), or it often develops over time and means your motherboard is staring to sputter out. If its a problem with Motherboard chokes it may also cause the to occur in your PSU. Id double check that by attaching your PSU to a different motherboard if you have one readily available.

 

If the only component that is whining is your PSU. This could be a serious problem and you should definitely return the PSU if it is still under RMA. I saw once a way to test if it is serious or not but can't remember where it was or how to do it. Anyway you should definitely be able to get an RMA on a coil whining PSU, I'd be very surprised if you couldn't.
