So I am getting an MSI Ge62 Apache sometime soon as my first gaming laptop. I really want to get it with the 128gb SSD but that is a bit out of my budget. So my question is if I get it without that SSD what are some of the downsides of that. Here is a link to the laptop.

You'll take about a minute to boot into the desktop (including loading programs) instead of 15 seconds, and game loading screens will be about twice as long on a HDD.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

That's a bit expensive. Here: https://lpc-digital.com/product/sager-np7258-clevo-n155rf/

If you take the 250GB Samsung 850 EVO in the M.2 slot, the intel 8260ac wifi card, 16GB of RAM and leave everything else default then pay with one of their approved "cash payment" methods, you'll end up with a SIGNIFICANTLY stronger GPU, the same specs otherwise, AND your SSD, and a good wifi card... for $30 more, as long as you can source your own operating system. If you want to use W7 you can request at checkout a W7 driver disc for the machine, otherwise you'll get W10 only drivers. The W10 drivers should also work for W8.1 as the OSes are almost the same except for the lack of end-user control added in W10.

Good deal, right? =D

Also a 2-year warranty.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
