CS:GO PC for about £300

AgentL3r

Hey all,

I'm soon going to be selling my Wii U for about £300 and I would like to buy a PC setup specifically for CS:GO only. I know it doesn't take much power to run, but I'd like 300 FPS or so. It's just for CS:GO as I will be building a high-end gaming PC in a few years once I get a better job.

Thanks.

I built my rig for CS:GO also. It cost me about 500 bucks. You could do it for much cheaper by swapping out my motherboard for a cheaper one. I spent 120 on mine, but you could pick one up that would work for like 40 bucks.

750ti is a pretty modest card but you could save even more by getting a used 550 or something.

Here is my rig

Here is an edit of my machine. It now uses a stock cooler, cheaper mobo and less expensive hard drive. Still over 300 bucks but it's a start.

Please include CSGO FPS too

around 100fps or so, enough for a smooth experience. if you're using a 144hz monitor, then stretch your budget and get a gtx 950.

Go for a GTX 950 to save 25 quid, but only 2500 fps then:  http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/Hwhj4D/asus-video-card-gtx950m2gd5

what

C'mon man, my build with a Skylake CPU and GTX 960 smokes that thing.  Even a GTX 950 in my build for £295 smokes it.

True, you think I could run other games on it? (R6S, GTA V etc.)
