What are the extra fans for ? The case comes with 3 x 140mm pre-installed.

 

You don't really need the extra thermal paste. The X61 will have it's own either pre-applied or in a tube/sachet.

 

I would go with the WD Blue over the Black.

 

Do you plan to SLI ? If not then 550W would be fine.
