bluetooth adapter very low range

I have asus bt211 for ps3/ps4 controller and since few days suddenly the range on it is extremely low, like 50cm away or through my leg or the table it stops working, but before I could use it in a different room and still worked.

Also for no reason ps3 controller stopped working with it completely since yesterday and wont connect anymore so now I need to use ps4 only and I dont like it because the sstart and select buttons are too far away from the sticks :(( first world problems

 

anyone know how to fix it or maybe its broken ?
