Whenever I have a screw that wont budge I apply pressure with a screwdriver then turn it like one of those air pressure bolt guns. It operates by striking the bolt repeatedly either to tighten or loosen it not in a single forceful movement. So try applying pressure and hitting it like an air gun (not crazy hard but gradually turn it harder the more it doesn't move). Also make sure you use the most appropriate screw driver head or else this method could strip the screw if it skips. Personally it's worked for me very well with stubborn screws.

So it's stripped. What you need to do is get a thin piece of material or your fingernail under the screw then pull while unscrewing it. That should remove it. I don't recommend putting another one in though when you're done doing what you're doing.
