Youtube Throttling

When I go to stats for nerds in the youtube HTML5 player it tells you your connection speed. On video about 5 minutes long it is about 4-5Mb/s on a 10Mb/s connection from my ISP. When I watch a video and hour and a half long the connection speeds drops to 300-500Kb/s making the video stutter all the time. I could download the video in 4K faster then I could stream it in 480. I am guessing it is a load balancing thing since the video is longer they can decrease the speeds as you will have more time to buffer the rest but in reality that does not work at all. So I guess I will be using VLC to download them. Stupid youtube

Just keeping this here as a
