Laptop Graphics Problem

So I'm dealing with this Lenovo Y700 laptop which cost me a pretty penny. It came with an AMD FX-8800P and an AMD Strato XT R9-M380 4GB but it can't run games. It has problems since day one it does horrible performance in games such like Counter Strike Global Offensive and Minecraft all in very low settings too. I don't care about quality i just want performance overall. Is there anything i can do? I called support for Lenovo and it didn't help they wanted to charge me even more for help. So what can i do?

Is it second hand? Or Warranty Expired? If yes, why didn't you return it on day 1?

Make sure that the computer isn't defaulting to the integrated graphics instead of the GPU

idk how to do it fully man can you help with the steps it's an AMD GPU like i stated cuz i did the maximize performance but it insists to use the R7 aka the default
