I highly recommend to avoid getting a founders edition card. a 1080 is a REALLY good card if you can afford it, but the founders edition has some thermal issues and its a fair bit more expensive than the board partner cards which are plain better (and usually cheaper) than the founders edition.

That being said, do you still want founders edition? (will keep this in mind when I suggest a build). Also, what is your workload? are you going to be gaming only? no gaming? something in between?

yikes triflix.... some of those choices... just yikes xD

also where do you live? this would affect pricing, availability, and such.
(just be as specific as your country, I don't need to know where you ACTUALLY live)

hahaha :D I live in Slovenia but I will go to Austria to buy the components.

One last question. what sort of colour orientation are you looking for in your PC? Aesthetics are important when you're dropping 2k on a system =)

aaaaaa :D well i'm a metalhead so black on black :D but seriously i don't care about appearance. It's important what is under the hood not above the hood.

if your willing to overclock this would be the best performer for gaming. of course i would exchange the founders edition with a 3rd party if they become available.

Okay, well I went with black and red when I was doing up this build, but you could certainly just get the H440 in all black and the build would basically just be black.

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/742KHN

I also did this in USD at US pricing since Slovenia or Austria wasn't on the PC price picker list, however I DID put you several hundred USD under budget (1860 USD = about 1640 EUR) so that should be enough buffer for any shipping costs or price discrepancy (I hope). Also, I put in the 1080 Founders edition, since you said you wanted it. But you could save money and get much better performance if you went with a different version of the 1080, such as the Asus STRIX or EVGA SSC.

If you end up having more to spend, you could buy a AIO liquid cooler on your CPU for better overclocking performance (something like the NZXT Kraken X61) You could also go for a bigger HDD if you needed more total storage. You could also go with some LED lighting strips on the inside of your case to really add some flare to your system (NZXT HUE+ would be awesome, but there are certainly much cheaper options out there for LED lighting)

If you end up having less to spend, you could shave money off your PSU (get a supernova 650/550 G2). You could also sub out the M.2 drive for a similarly sized SATA SSD drive (like the Samsung 850 EVO).

And of course the items in this build are just a suggestion. if you don't like any one part of the build, or if that specific part has unreasonable inflation where you are, then feel free to sub it out for anything of your choosing. This build is oriented primarily around gaming, with enough CPU power to handle light to moderate photo/video editing and the like.

That's a fine build, there's certainly nothing wrong with what you have there. but where is your HDD? I don't know if 256GB total storage capacity is going to be enough. Unless of course you think it is. you know what you need better than I do.

I have a 5 TB HDD connected to my router. I have a NAS :D

well then it sounds like you're good to go (once asus releases their 1080 strix that is). My only other suggestion would be to get a case with a side window so you can ogle at yer pretty system, but if you're not into that sort of thing, then that's no problem at all. Enjoy your brand new system (and you're REALLY going to love the speeds of that 950 pro M.2)

Why 5820k when 6800k is out? Decent build otherwise, but i'm not sure he really needs 6 cores for his workload, and 4cores is better for gaming. and no OS in your build.

The 6800K is more expensive. The 5820K is still a good option until the prices settle down.
